Heroes2C project is looking for a Project Administrator and Project Manager

"Medway Queen Preservation Society (MQPS) owns the historic paddle steamer 'Medway Queen'. The ship is currently being rebuilt in Bristol. It is planned to bring the completed hull back to Medway for fitting out, and to employ the completed ship as a heritage attraction in Medway and further afield. MQPS has entered into a partnership with a French maritime heritage organisation and a Flemish organisation involved in recreating other historic vessels. The partnership will receive EU funding, under the Interreg IVA scheme, designed to promote international cross-border cooperation. The project to restore the three historic vessels 'Medway Queen', 'Jean Bart' and 'Belgica' is jointly referred to as 'Heroes 2 C'. MQPS is the lead partner for the project, and the task of the project administrator is to manage the day to day running of the 'Heroes 2 C' project..."

INTERREG IVB NWE is a financial instrument of the European Union's Cohesion Policy. It funds projects which support transnational cooperation. The aim is to find innovative ways to make the most of territorial assets and tackle shared problems of Member States, regions and other authorities.

European Project Manager, SEINE-MARITIME COUNTY COUNCIL

TASKS & DUTIES
Reporting to the Deputy General Director for Infrastructures and working with the Directorate for Ports as well as the European Affairs Unit you will:

- carry out the actions listed in the INTERREG IVC application form (events, communication, surveys, studies…) in compliance with the provisions of the Operational Program and relevant EU regulations;
- coordinate the actions’ implementation in close partnership with the other nine European partners enforcing the compliance of all partners with their agreed commitments;
- carry out all the tasks that are under the sole responsibility of the Lead Partner: coordination and facilitation of the partneship, bi-annual reporting to the Joint Technical Secretariat (with the support of a Financial officer),
- involve the County Council’s relevant units and elected councillors,
- pilot more specifically the “dredging” workpackage by identifying the relevant legislation, the best practices in the field and by commissioning a study on the issue (40% of the working load).

Dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre des programmes de coopération européenne, il (elle) aura en charge les actions suivantes :

- L’animation technique transversale de la mise en œuvre des dossiers INTERREG (actuellement au nombre de 2),
- Le montage de nouveaux dossiers de coopération européenne,
- L’animation d’actions dans le domaine du développement durable et, plus particulièrement, du patrimoine naturel.

Il (elle) sera le correspondant technique du Parc Naturel Régional auprès des différentes cellules INTERREG, il aura la charge du suivi administratif des dossiers
