Who can apply?

Beneficiaries eligible for funding from the Interreg IV A 2 Seas Programme can be either public bodies, public equivalent bodies or private sectors organisations (SMEs). An indication of the target groups supported per priority can be found in the Operational Programme.

As a general rule, organisations that receive financing from the Programme must be located in the Programme area (eligible area or adjacent area), which covers parts of France, England, Belgium-Flanders and The Netherlands.

Partners must actively participate in the activities and contribute to the achievement of project’s outputs and results. Partners must contribute financially to the project and ask for ERDF.

Additional information relating to the eligibility of a partner organisation can be found in the Programme Manual.

A network of Territorial Facilitators  located in each Member State supports the project development process, from the conception of a project idea to its submission. The Facilitators assist applicants in their search for potential project partners and are used to explaining the Programme rules as well as to give tips to applicants on how to fill-in the application form. They are the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Programme within the territories. Feel free to contact the Territorial Facilitators for advice on project development, as well as for finding project partners. Should there be any technical question specific to your project idea, the JTS door is always open to provide you with an answer relating to your particular case.
