After 10 years experience in town planning and regional/local development in France and its overseas departments and territories, Veronique has spent the last 18 years working for the EU and its Cooperation Programmes. As the 2 Seas Programme Director since 2008, she also has experienced all the angles of European cooperation - from tangible projects to the European administration. Véronique is also highly qualified in town and country planning and environmental science.

After graduating in business and supply management, Nathanaël made his way into Marketing and developed his experience in events, market research and accommodation management. He joined the 2 Seas JTS right at the start in early 2008 and has since been the Programme Assistant.

Tim's career in European programmes and policy has now spanned a period of over 10 years. After working in both France and Germany he returned to the UK where he has worked at both local and regional levels, developing projects, managing partnerships and contributing to strategic policy development. He has been the Project Unit Coordinator of the 2 Seas Programme right from the start, in April 2008.

Both a spatial planning engineer and environmental scientist, Edouard comes from Brittany. Before joining the 2 Seas Project Unit, Edouard has experience in preparing LIFE+ applications for an environmental NGO and working for the French Government's devolved land use agency.

Initially an English and Dutch literature and linguistics graduate, Lien moved on to European Studies, and lived in Limerick in Ireland and Toulouse in France to study English and French. As a 2 Seas Project Officer, Lien closely follows the different projects' activities and she coordinates the Territorial Facilitation Network.

Before joining the 2 Seas Project team in 2011, Gianluca worked as a Project Officer within the Alpine Space Programme JTS, located in Munich, and latterly in the Interreg IVB Med Programme based in Marseille. He has a Masters Degree in Economics and Politics of the European Integration at the University of Bologna.

Céline Van Den Abeele has joined to reinforce the 2 Seas Project Unit as an Assistant in April 2013. She comes from Belgium where she previously worked for the Province of West-Flanders. She was working on the INTERREG Projects of the crossborder Region «Flanders - The Netherlands ».

Davide heads the Finance Unit of the 2 Seas Programme. Davide's wide experience in European funding brought him to Lille in 2009 after Venice, where he is from, Tokyo, and then Paris, where he worked as finance manager for URBACT.

After a Masters degree in Economics and Management of European Affairs and experience undertaking policy projects for the city of Poitiers, Emmanuel came to Lille to join INTERREG IIIB North-West-Europe's Finance Unit as an assistant before becoming a fully fledged Finance Officer in the 2 Seas Programme in 2009.

Marianne comes from Arras and studied English before her European streak took her first to Suffolk and then into European cooperation projects. As a European Officer for the Pas-de-Calais area for 8 years, Marianne developed extensive knowledge of European funds and territorial cooperation which she has brought with her in her position of Finance Officer.

The 2 Seas Finance Officer, Elodie, comes from Boulogne-sur-Mer and started her professional life in an organisation dealing in microfinance in Calcutta, India. Elodie joined the team in 2009 after working for the INTERREG IVB finance team. She has a language degree and Masters in International Cooperation.

Wilde has joined the 2 Seas Finance Unit after several months within the Project Unit. Born and brought-up in Belgium, Wilde has double citizenship (Italian and British) and ended his studies in European Affairs in Lille. Before joining the 2 Seas Programme, Wilde worked in France as a European Affairs Consultant and as a project manager assistant in a European funded project on ICT for energy efficiency.

Alexander comes from the Kortrijk area and joined to reinforce the 2 Seas team as a Finance Unit Assistant in February 2012. He studied at the University of Ghent, where he obtained his Masters Degrees in General Economics and in International Politics.

Muriel joined the JTS as a communication officer in 2011. With a background in economics and regional politics, she previously worked as a communication officer in the Nord-Pas de Calais Region's European Department. Prior to this, she was a project officer for different French local authorities, mainly involved in European and Innovation subjects.
